Wellness is positive and affirming. The message of mental health recovery is not remission or a miracle sure, but the process of living a fulfilling life despite illness and loss.

What is Recovery?

Recovery is a personal journey of wellness, resiliency and transformation. Recovery involves developing hope, a sense of self, supportive relationships, empowerment, social inclusion, coping skills and meaning. Recovery is supported by personal responsibility, self-advocacy, education, support and hope.
