Eat Smart & Live Well

This fun and educational program is designed to help individuals and families who reside in Ulster County make healthier food choices while stretching their food dollars in this tough economy. Participants will gain valuable kitchen skills through hands-on food demonstrations, nutritious low cost recipes and meal ideas and lots of fun conversation. Participants must income-qualify.

A FREE Self-Management Workshop designed to help participants discover better nutrition and exercise choices, Find practical ways to manage symptoms & balance emotions, Understand & evaluate treatment choices, Enhance communication with healthcare providers, family & friends, Learn & practice problem solving & action planning skills, And create a lifestyle of wellness and health.

The Ulster County Eating Disorders Coalition

A network of providers, concerned citizens, individuals with eating disorders and their family members, that meets regularly to advocate, educate, prevent, and treat the range of eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors. A Resource Guide is available and support groups are offered.
