In order to be eligible for any of the services listed below, you must be in treatment at Ulster Mental Health Department.
Ulster County’s mental health service provider system offers a broad range of services for children, adolescents and adults. Services offered include inpatient psychiatric treatment, partial hospitalization, emergency psychiatric intervention, residential, outpatient clinic treatment, case management, continuing day treatment, intensive psychiatric rehabilitation, sheltered work shop, information and referral, prevention and education, peer advocacy, self-help and psycho-social programs.

MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS REDUCTION
Participants will learn and practice coping skills that have proven benefits for reducing anxiety, depression, stress, panic, symptoms of OCD, ADHD, sleep disorders, as well as multiple medical benefits

Clozaril Group
Conduct necessary lab work associated with Clozapin, distribute medication, promote socialization and psycho education.
Must be at least 18 years old, in treatment at UCMHD and taking Clozapine. 22 - 25 particpants.

Cognitive Rehab; Psycho-education and Skill Training for People with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury)
Develop acceptance of self - both strengths and weaknesses - and skills to improve functioning in areas of identified weaknesses.
Must be a client at UCMHD and must have a history of brain injury with indentified related deficits. Must not have an IQ below 70 or be actively psychotic. Up to 10 participants.
Tuesday, 3:00pm - 5:00pm and Friday, 10am - 12noon.

Wise Girls- Coping Skills
Grounding and coping skills group, helps promote awareness of self and emotions.
Open to girls only 12 - 17 years old.

This group is for women over the age of 18, who struggle with PTSD related
sx and who are interested in learning skills to manage these sx to improve
functioning and their quality of life.
It is not a processing group and disclosure of details of the traumatic
experiences is strictly prohibited.
