RISE @ SUNY Ulster
(Reaching Independence through Supportive Education)

Individuals who receive public assistance are elligible to participate in this joint effort of SUNY Ulster and the Ulster County Department of Social Services. Supporting students through their full time college attendacne, RISE services include student orientation, employment readiness, the Essential Skills Workshop, Employment Exploration Seminar, employment strategies, job placement and child care assistance.

ACES @ SUNY Ulster
(Academic Coaching for Educational Success)

Sponsored by MHA: the Mental Health Association in Ulster County, ACES provides services to SUNY Ulster students with emotional and psychological disabilities by providing support services which include 25-hour orientation, disability-related counseling, liaison with campus and community services, assistance with the completion of forms, one-on-one social support, and peer support.
